Devic Thresholds: 'Plant Communion' ~ Plant Communication & Ecology of the Unseen
Plants are the doorway.
Devic Thresholds: Plant Communion & the Ecology of the Unseen
Plant Communion is a twelve-week immersive cohort into plant consciousness, subtle perception and ecological attunement. Nurturing direct experiences, this course invites participants to cultivate relationships with plant beings through observation, meditation, dreams, creative practice (art-making, plant medicine crafting) and guided channeling.
Rather than approaching plants solely as biological organisms or medicinal resources, we explore them as living intelligences with unique qualities, energetic fields and patterns of communication. Through sustained relationship with various chosen plant allies and more, students develop practices of attunement that deepen awareness of the invisible threads woven through plants, place, dreams and the living world.
Together we investigate what many traditions have described as the unseen dimensions of nature; including plant spirits, devas, elemental intelligences, the Fae and the spirit of place (land spirits); through historical perspectives, contemplative practice, folklore and experiential inquiry. Students are encouraged to cultivate discernment, reciprocity and ethical relationship as they explore these traditions and their own experiences.
At its heart, Plant Communion asks a simple yet transformative question: What becomes possible when we learn not only to observe the living world, but to enter into relationship with it?
Through field practice, meditation, art-making, dreamwork, journaling, sound immersion, energetic sensing, and other creative responses, participants gradually refine their perception, explore practices of channeling and develop practical tools for integrating ecological awareness and subtle perception into everyday life.
This course welcomes artists, herbalists, healers, educators and seekers who feel called to deepen their relationship with the living world and the mysteries that exist beyond ordinary sight and specifically in the realm of the Green-Spirit World.

Community Commitment
Plant Communion is an intimate, mentorship-based cohort intentionally limited to a small number of participants. The quality of the experience depends upon each person's presence, commitment and respectful participation.
By enrolling, participants agree to:
Commit to the full twelve-week journey and attend sessions consistently whenever possible.
Arrive on time, prepared and willing to engage in discussion, field practice and personal reflection.
Respect the privacy, experiences and diverse perspectives of fellow participants.
Approach the work with curiosity, discernment, humility and reciprocity.
Complete home practices and maintain an ongoing relationship with their plant teachers and art-practices throughout the course.
Help cultivate a supportive learning environment.
Because each participant contributes to the integrity of the cohort, enrollment represents a commitment to the entire learning community; not simply attendance in individual classes. If you will be missing more than 2 classes, please wait for another time to enroll.
Enrollment & Tuition
Space is reserved upon receipt of the required $333 deposit.
Please enroll only if you are prepared to commit to the full course. Withdrawals after the cohort begins affect the continuity of the group and are generally not eligible for refunds except under extraordinary circumstances.
Tuition reflects the depth of instruction, individualized mentorship, unique course material developed over years of plant channeling and intentionally small class size. Pricing is firm, and requests for additional discounts beyond any publicly offered payment plans or scholarships cannot be accommodated in order to assure proper compensation and honor the energy exchanged.
As our journey comes to a close, each participant will create Plant People: An Archive of Communion, Volume One: A living document of their relationship with plant teachers, guides and allies. Through plant realm mythos and symbology, energy analysis, intuitive exploration and channeled impressions, this handmade artist zine becomes a personal archive of communion. Thus, we will part with an unfolding language and wisdom revealed through plant attunement, as unique to the plant communicator as the plants themselves.
