About Ancient Pocket

Ancient Pocket is the spiritual and divinatory heart of my practice: a living field of inquiry into plants, ancestors, symbols, dreams, objects, place, ritual and the unseen relationships that shape our lives.

I have cultivated my professional practice since 1997, working across divination, out of body experience, tellurism, plant communication, ritual arts, energetic practices, spiritual education and intuitive guidance. My work is rooted in a lifelong relationship with the animate world and in nearly three decades of study, practice, teaching, mentorship and direct experience.

My path has never belonged to a single school or system. I have studied across a wide and continually expanding body of esoteric, mystical, philosophical, religious, plant medicinal, ecological and ceremonial traditions—including Western and Eastern spiritual philosophies, archangel transmissions, Indigenous teachings of my own bloodline of Apache, Hopi and Mexica, sacred and devotional texts, occult and hermetic traditions, the Rosarium philosophorum sive pretiosissimum donum Dei,Theosophy and Anthroposophy, plant and healing traditions, mythology, dreamwork, ritual arts and the study of ancient indigenous cultures such as the Missipian Moundbuilder’s, the Jomon people, star-systems, the Dogon People, Petroglyph 5th Sun culture and worldwide symbolic systems, as well as direct practices involving plant allies, dragon chi, archangelic traditions, dreamstates, channeling and other forms of subtle perception. My studies have included many lineages, teachers, texts and schools of thought, from the Cathars, Druidry, Zen and Vajracchedikā Prajñāpāramitā Buddhism, Yamabushi and Shintoism to the Bhagavad Gita and Sufi and Zoroastrian writings to Marian traditions, Egyptian religion and mythology, Western and Eastern esotericism, and the teachings of Rudolf Steiner, Blavatsky and others. These modalities continue to inform one another rather than existing as isolated disciplines. As a definitive researcher of Ancient Environmental Art, the past informs the future.

My spiritual lineage is also deeply experiential.

From childhood, I experienced a world that seemed considerably more populated than the one described by ordinary perception. What was initially incredibly scary and difficult for my immediate family to understand eventually became part of a deeper recognition of our family’s own traditions of dreaming, vision, extreme Clair-audience, all clair faculty, paranormal contact, interplanetary visitation and spiritual perception. Through conversations with Yaqui, Mexica, and Apache elders in my family, I began to understand these experiences within a much older cultural context.

My grandmother experienced visitations of Tonantzin/La Virgen de Guadalupe; my father experienced prophetic and past-life dreams; and other relatives carried their own experiences of spiritual encounter—experiences that, within another cultural framework, might simply have been understood as the work of a seer. These stories became an important part of understanding myself and learning to approach these perceptions with discernment, humility and responsibility.

My practice has continued to develop through dream transmissions, connection to fae and Devic Realms, plant encounters, ancestral relationship, ritual, divination, ecological observation, symbolic study and direct spiritual experience. I understand plants, places, objects, dreams, ancestors and other forms of life as potential participants in relationship rather than merely subjects of study. Ancient Pocket is one place where those relationships can be explored consciously.

I don't approach this work as a system of absolute answers. I offer practices for listening.

Through tarot, intuitive consultation, plant and ecological inquiry, ritual, Reiki, sound, workshops, ceremony, and other forms of guided exploration, I help people slow down enough to notice what is already speaking through their lives. Sessions may engage questions of transition, grief, creativity, spiritual development, ancestral memory, relationships, place, intuition, or the “search for meaning” as an accessible subtle holy gift.

After nearly three decades of practice, what interests me most is not certainty but relationship, discernment and reconnection—with one's own intuition, with the living world, with memory and ancestry, and with the mysteries that cannot always be reduced to language.

Ancient Pocket is a place for that work.

Offerings include private divinatory and spiritual consultations, intuitive and energetic sessions,In-Person Reiki Energetic Cleansing and Remote Clearings, Reiki Sessions, Reiki training, plant and ecological inquiry, ritual and ceremony, classes, workshops, gatherings and immersive experiences.
